About

Freedom Community Church

Pastor Deborah Parker

Freedom Community Church in Earl Park, Indiana, is a non-denominational congregation of souls who come together to worship and praise the one God almighty, recognize our sinful human nature that is cleansed through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, and are empowered in our daily lives by God's Holy Spirit.

We worship, praise, and believe in a loving God, who invites us all into his eternal fellowship, by acknowledging our sinful nature and being cleansed in His sight by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Our central mission is sharing the Good News of spiritual salvation through Jesus Christ as Lord, and filling our lives with the power of the Holy Spirit.

This is our confession of faith:

We believe in the one true ever-being omnipresent almighty God:

· As the creating Father whose absolute love for every person (a love that we cannot earn) is embodied in His gracious gift, to all who accept it, of eternal salvation of our souls through the sacrifice of His one and only begotten Son Jesus Christ, completely eliminates our sins and embraces us in His presence;

· Who reaches out to us in our daily lives through the empowering presence, guidance, and gifts of the Holy Spirit;

· As revealed through the Holy Bible, which is the only Holy Spirit inspired and infallible word of God, and is the full basis for our faith and practice.

The Trinity of God:

· We believe that God the Father, who created everything by the Spirit, has always existed and will always exist everywhere and in everything, knows all, and has absolute power, in His infinite love gave us His Son;

· The Son, Jesus Christ, fully human yet fully God, who literally lived as an example, and literally died, crucified as a sacrifice for all, and who by the Spirit defeated literal bodily death and spiritual death by rising to live again, returned to Heaven to be with the Father so that we may receive His Holy Spirit;

· The Holy Spirit of God who remains among us, empowering those in Christ with gifts that enable, enliven, and embolden the Church.
