Pastors Basil and Deborah have been married for nearly 50 years, celebrating their anniversary in June 2026. In addition to their ministry at Freedom Community Church, they are the proud parents of three sons and grandparents to twelve grandchildren. Family is very important to them, and they cherish both their time together and the relationships they share with their church family.
Pastor Deborah earned her doctorate in March 2025, a milestone that reflects her deep love for learning and teaching. The two of them enjoy simple living in their tiny house, “Red Bud,” where Deb spends time gardening, growing flowers, and raising quail. They also love camping—especially in their trailer, “Mini Max”—and often enjoy getting away into nature.
Basil and Deborah host retreats in West Lafayette, Indiana, and for more than 30 years they have opened their home and hearts to international students. Their lives are rooted in hospitality, faith, and a genuine love for people.
Tracy and Chrissie McCutcheon, hail from the Augusta, Georgia area, a place famous for The Master’s Golf Tournament, but where they were set into full-time ministry to serve The One and Only Master, back in 1999. They pioneered First Family Church in Clearwater, SC just over the Georgia border and then moved to Altavista, Virginia in 2003, where they founded and pastored Love Church International for 6 years. The McCutcheon’s became dear friends of Pastors Deborah and Basil after moving their ministry and 3 children to Indiana in 2009. Deb and Basil opened their home and lives to the family, welcoming them in as they would have their own children and grandchildren, creating a bond that led to years of ministry together.
Pastor Tracy walks in a sovereign prophetic anointing and his urgency and call to pray and intercede is his passion. Tracy and Chrissie are known for sharing testimonies of God’s faithfulness and wisdom gained through their restored marriage, triumphs over tragedy and disease, the challenges of “church hurt” and how to overcome it, as well as the miraculous story of how they helped start an orphanage in Zimbabwe.
