FCCEP feels that giving back and supporting our community is of the utmost importance of our purpose as a church. Each month, we focus on serving a different mission. Learn more about those missions and why we support them below!
The Dr. Michael Diminick Family Orphanage
More info: The Dr. Michael Diminick Family Orphanage was founded in 2017 out of a divine connection between Pastor Tracy McCutcheon from right here in Benton County, Indiana and Pastor Paymore Murefu in Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe. The need for tens of thousands of displaced children near the capital city of Harare is overwhelming. Paymore, whose own father was brutally murdered in front of him, his siblings, and mother when he was a child, was determined alongside his wife, Bybit, to make a difference. Back in 2003, Tracy nearly lost his leg and his life to a tragic accident, when Dr. Diminick stepped in, and by the mercies of God, helped to save both. Tracy had no medical insurance, but the good doctor worked tirelessly through 7 surgeries over 10 weeks, cancelling all debt owed and got Pastor Tracy stable and back on his feet and back into his pulpit. Tracy had a deep desire to build an orphanage one day in honor of Dr. Mike. Fast forward to 2017, and Pastor Paymore was in the area visiting, and the two pastors put together a plan. Now the orphanage has a boys and girls home on the property and plans for more orphans to be welcomed to the home as funds come in.
You can donate directly to the orphanage by sending a check to The Gathering Worldwide at 1003 E 10th Street Fowler, IN 47944.
One hundred percent of your donation will go to the orphanage.
